My afsc is 3d032 and my friend want to trade his assignment to Fort Meade, Maryland for my wright-Patt, should I do it ? How bad is the army dorm compare to Air force dorm ?

Fort Meade is great... Once you're in the enterprise, if that's where you are headed, the sky is the limit. You'll have tons of opportunities to set up your future outside the AF... Regardless if you finish this and ets or stay career... The social network you'll establish at Meade has the potential to set you up for life.

Take it, you're going to do more cool stuff in Ft Meade compared to wright patterson.

I would rather do your job within the DC area then in the Dayton area. You have a lot around you if you decide to go for Fort Meade. You're within 30 minutes of DC, 4 hours of New York/New Jersey, and a little more than 4 from Boston - if you're single, Fort Meade is probably the best choice.

wright patt is pretty cool imo, fort meade is kinda hit or miss, some people love it, some people don't.

Ft Meade is closer to the coast. Annapolis, Baltimore and DC are all within an hour.

You can just trade "assignments" with someone like that? Like, lets say I'm station in one base and my friend is on another and we wanna change places we can just do it? Thanks.

In tech school you can trade as long as you and the pet person graduate within a couple weeks of each other.

You have to meet all of the requirement below in order to trade :
-
One of you must be in there swap window ( the swap window is about 2 weeks from the day you get your order hand to you by your MTL )
-
you and the person you trade with must be at least 30 days away from the graduation day.
-
Your graduation date and the person you trade with must be within 30 days of each other.
at least thats how they do it here in Keesler.
